Look for an upcoming "backdoor pilot" episode -- meaning an episode intended to be spun-off into a new series for CBS, if the suits at the network (and the fans!) like it enough. The spin-off is set to feature a group of "mobile" NCIS agents who are constantly on the move, traveling around the country solving crimes. The team of two women and three men have complicated relationships with each other, and should make for an interesting series if the new show gets picked up. In the meantime, we're looking forward to seeing the agents interact with Callen and Hanna.
