What: The Psycho Derek story came to an explosive climax when this nutjob held Peyton (and, later, Brooke) hostage during their senior prom. Basically, this was OTH's version of a horror movie. "Peyton, he's going to lunge! They always lunge."
Why: "I won¿t even apologize: I loved Psycho Derek. I think Matt Barr is a great actor, and when he actually attacks Peyton, I was on the edge of my seat. Seeing all of those pictures he took plastered around her room, how he head butted her, completely demoralized her, and was then thrown out a window, was amazing. And when he came back during prom, I was so nervous. But again, Lucas saved the day!" --Emily
"Brooke vs Peyton vs Psycho Derek = Girl Power. I love how much stronger Brooke and Peyton's friendship became. It was like a fight or flight moment full of adrenaline and Brooke chose to stay with Peyton and help her instead of going away."--Amira from UAE
