Blindsides
"Big Brother": With nothing to do for hours on end in the "Big Brother" house, blindsides are fairly rare. We will credit Nokomis in Season 5 for coming up with the brilliant back-dooring strategy, but those don't seem to happen as often as we'd like on the show.
"Survivor": The advent of the Hidden Immunity Idol has made blindsides an almost-weekly occurrence on "Survivor" -- and we love it. It never gets old watching some hubris-having self-assured contestant get his or her torch snuffed. We think Yau-Man, Earl and Dreamz playing Edgardo, Mookie and Alex in Fiji and the all-women alliance of Natalie, Cirie, Amanda and Parvati getting Erik to give Natalie Immunity and then voting him out tie for our favorite blindsides. But there are really too many good ones.
Winner: Too easy on this one -- "Survivor" wins hands down. Perhaps "Big Brother" should put a Hidden Immunity Hamster in the house this season. Point -- "Survivor."
