The fashions of 'Downton Abbey'

"I know it doesn't look as if I've got a corset on, but I have! It is a challenge to wear. At the end of the day, you'll see a lot of the female actresses bent over the kitchen table. It's the traditional method to relieve the corset - you lie face down with your body flat on the table and it takes the strain off the back. As well as the corset, I wear an underskirt, petticoat, blouse, skirt, apron and the all-important little hat. I love that little hat."
