Lord Grantham
"Robert's white tie has been made by Savile Row tailors Huntsman, following an original design and taking four fittings from start to finish. It is the cut that makes it of that time, predominantly the shoulders, which are rounder and softer than today's. There are no synthetics in the fabric and everything is hand-sewn. He wears a tail coat, a whtie pique waistcoat with pearl buttons, black trousers with a satin stripe down the sides and patent pumps. The starched shirtfront is buttoned onto the top of his trousers to stop it buckling."
