22 classic Valentine's Day episodes and specials

"HIMYM" may be a bit hit and miss in recent years, but the 2011 Valentine's Day episode was wonderful. Marshall is still in Minnesota, having reverted to a teenage version of himself in the wake of his dad's sudden death, and Lily goes to bring him back. We found Marshall's dad's death to be one of the best things the show's ever done and this was a fitting ending to the story arc. Oh, and also -- Barney meets Nora, which was another storyline we liked.
