'The Vampire Diaries' Death Toll: Characters we've loved and lost

Stefan's not the only one keeping a list of dead people -- we are, too. These days, it seems everyone on "The Vampire Diaries" has blood on their hands.

While we're fresh from the pain of saying goodbye to Jeremy Gilbert, we figured now was a good time to look back on the characters we've loved and lost over the last few years of Thursday night ripping and staking and heart-snatching.
