We loved her because: She had swagger. Not only was she a sweet crooner in the 1920s, but she aged quite gracefully into a crazy psycho witch. We appreciate crazy psychos, particularly when they aren't afraid to call Klaus out on his lame jokes.

We lost her because: After using vervain torture and blood magic to get some information out of Stefan (shirtless, sweaty, restrained Stefan... not that we noticed these things), Gloria fell prey to Katherine, who, per usual, was stalking Stefan.
