We loved her because: Where would this show be without a few well-placed randoms to kill off? Aimee had a thing for Matt despite his relationship with Caroline, but she mostly ended up getting into trouble with Tyler and Jeremy.
We lost her because: Talk about wrong place, wrong time. Katherine really wanted that freaking moonstone, and to prove how badly she wanted it, she killed Aimee in the middle of a crowed Lockwood party. "Paralyzed from the waist down," she said, "and dead," before dropping Aimee into Stefan's arms. Tick-tock indeed.
