'The Vampire Diaries' Death Toll: Characters we've loved and lost

We loved her because: Um, because she's really pretty? Okay, but seriously. Her methods sucked (torturing Caroline, really?) but we can understand wanting to avenge Hot Uncle Mason's death. Plus, she helped Tyler figure out how to deal with his little lycanthropy problem. If it weren't for her, he probably would've bitten one of our favorite characters! Oh, wait.

We lost her because: Damon saved Tyler from being Klaus's sacrificial werewolf, and unfortunately for Jules, she was the backup plan. She was sacrificed so that Klaus could embrace his wolfy side.
