'Studio 60' Star Peet Pregnant
It will be the actress' first child with her fiancee
The "Whole Nine Yards" actress and her fiancee are expecting their first baby about six months, reports People.
Fiancee David Benioff, 35, is a screenwriter who wrote "25th Hour" and "Troy." He's apparently tapped to pen the script for "Wolverine," the upcoming "X-Men" spinoff.
The couple got engaged in July and plan to tie the knot at some point in the future.
Peet, 34, is mainly known for her film resume that includes "The Whole Nine Yards" and its sequel, "Saving Silverman," "Something's Gotta Give," "Melinda and Melinda," "A Lot Like Love" and the upcoming four-hankerchief weepie "Griffin and Phoenix" opposite Dermot Mulroney.
On TV, appeared on "C.P.W.," "Seinfeld," "Spin City" and starred on "Jack & Jill."
"Studio 60," the latest drama by Aaron Sorkin ("The West Wing"), stars Peet as network president Jordan McDeere, who has step in when the executive producer of their late night sketch comedy show has a meltdown on the air. As part of the damage control, she brings in writers Matt Albie and Danny Tripp (Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford). The show premieres on Monday, Sept. 18.
