The K-Fed dynasty grows
LOS ANGELES --Spears gave birth to a baby boy just before 2 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday, Sept. 12, report news sources. This is the pop singer's second son in less than a year. Sean Preston, her first son with husband Kevin Federline, turns one on Thursday, Sept. 14.
Spears allegedly hid her identity at the hospital by registering under the name "Pebbles." Then, sometime in the wee hours of the morning, a Caesarean section was performed and the new 6-pound, 9-ounce baby was born. No name has been released yet.
The timing is perfect since the celebrity mom has been itching to get back to work, but didn't want her firstborn to be lonely. She told People in August that Sean Preston "is going to be traveling on the road with me, so I think it will be good to have [a sibling] there with him." Spears is working on a new album, which is due next year.
Her hubby K-Fed already has two children with his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson: daughter Kori, 4, and son Kaleb, 2. Federline, 28, and Spears, 24, will mark their second wedding anniversary on Sept. 18.
