Daniel Plays 'The Game'
'Joe Dirt' star will play an NFL wife
A spin-off of the popular WB comedy "Girlfriends," The Game focuses on professional football players and the women who love them.
Not surprisingly, Daniel won't play one of the gridiron warriors, but rather one of the women who love them. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel's character, Kelly Parker, was originally played by Jennifer Baxter in the backdoor pilot for "The Game," which aired as a "Girlfriends" episode this spring.
For some viewers, Daniel is best known for her starring work in the "Sweet Valley High" television series -- she played Jessica Wakefield, while twin sister Cynthia Daniel played Elizabeth. Her television credits include appearances on "That '70s Show," "North Shore" and "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia."
On the big screen, she's was one of the stars of "Joe Dirt" and she'll next be seen in the July comedy "Little Man" with several of the Brothers Wayans.
