2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa X360, PS3, Wii/$49.99-$59.99/Available Now

EA Sports has spent more than 20 years creating the best in baseball, basketball and football games, allowing every armchair quarterback and fantasy athletics fanatic a chance at virtual glory. Sadly, the beloved sport of soccer is often left in the shadows of its NFL, NHL and NBA brethren. Much like the sport itself, America just needs to give video game soccer a chance, and it will win your heart, or at least that's what EA Sports is hoping for with its latest kickfest, "2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa."

Take to the pitch as you compete as one of the 199 teams hoping to claim the glory that comes with winning the World Cup. The look and feel of FIFA Soccer has been lovingly re-created, right down to the crowd sounds and reactions. For those reluctant to pick up a controller out of fear of complexity, EA Sports has built a configuration that relies on only two buttons: one for shooting and one for passing. If you're a pro, other control setups allow for more advanced moves and strategies.

Multiplayer is alive and well in "2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa," which has several modes of play, including the World League Ladder and World Cup Online. In ladder play you'll compete in a fantasy league where winning moves you up the ranks and into new and harder divisions, while losing sends you back down to battle the novices. In World Cup Online you'll choose yourfavorite team and attempt to defeat your fellow competitors and eventually gain the title of "Best in the World."

Dance Sensation! Wii/$19.99/Available Now

Hoping to capture the young female demographic, Majesco is unleashing its latest Wii-remote-flailing rhythm game upon the world. "Dance Sensation!" takes popular and family-friendly music from artists such as Corbin Bleu and Demi Lovato and combines it with ballet, hip-hop, jazz and Latin dance styles.

While you won't actually be dancing to earn points, as often seen in the "Dance Dance Revolution" franchise, points come from gesturing with the Wii remote and nunchuck as demonstrated by on-screen prompts. Successful completion leads to high marks and a perfect performance.

If you happen to have a little dancer in the family, the good music, simple controls and affordable price tag make "Dance Sensation!" a great pick.
