Mike Vogel as "Christian"

You Know Him From: Vogel's no stranger to remakes, having starred in MTV's musical "Wuthering Heights" and the recent "Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

Who's Christian? Secretly engaged to Jennifer (Emmy Rossum), Christian's just wants to prove himself to his disapproving potential future father-in-law (Kurt Russell).

Art Imitated Life With Russell: "He actually knocked me out one time. He was definitely very stern. When he comes down that zip line when Josh [Lucas] and I catch him with Emily on his back. He came through with his elbow and caught me right in the temple. I staggered and went down. Kurt is the one that I've come to respect and to look up to the most through this whole process."

Vogel Hopes His Career Won't Sink Quickly: "I love Robert Redford, Steve McQueen, guys like that. I like how Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt have at times played against the choice that everyone would expect them to make for their next roll, or for a movie that they would do. They played against that. I think that as opportunity presents itself that's the way I'd like to go with a lot of things. It's about running the long distance marathon here. Not the 40-meter dash. I think that in today's business, that having career longevity like that seems like its getting more difficult and more difficult to achieve. My hat is off to those guys that have done it."
