The Underrated of 2007

The Underrated of 2007: Zeljko Ivanek
Damages, FX

You know him as: Conflicted attorney Ray Fiske

Why we like him: None of the characters on Damages was what you would call an unreservedly good person. In that grayest of moral universes, though, Ivaneks Ray Fiske stood out as someone that you might be able to trust. Yes, he represented a bad man (Ted Dansons Arthur Frobisher) on the wrong side of a massive class-action lawsuit. And yes, he was not above the occasional underhanded maneuver. But Ivanek also imbued Ray with a recognizable conscience, and following the characters shocking death Damages wont quite be the same.

Where else youve seen him: Lots of places, including Live Free or Die Hard and roles on Lost, 24 and Oz.
