Angela Kinsey
"The Office," NBC
You know her as: Uptight accountant Angela Martin
Why we like her: Tightly wound can be funny -- see Costanza, George. Tightly wound and almost never coming unwound, a la Angela Martin, is often even funnier. What's really remarkable about Kinsey's performance is that her character demands she keep her emotions bottled up nearly all the time, which usually isn't funny. But the way she delivers lines like "I find the mystery genre disgusting. I hate being titillated" with a steely look that says yes, she is judging you, or "How do you tell someone it's over? You send them a notarized letter, right?" as she tries valiantly not to crack is truly something to behold. In the deep and talented "Office" ensemble, she's become one of the two or three can't-miss faces in every episode.
Where else you've seen her: With "Office" co-star John Krasinski in "License to Wed" and in a guest appearance on "Monk," among others.
