Expect to See: The season opener teases at a future wedding, possibly for Ted (Josh Radnor) when he encounters his future-wife's roommate (Rachel Bilson) again. Robin (Cobie Smulders) is still heartbroken over being dumped by Don, Marshall (Jason Segal) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) are trying to have a baby and Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) in search of his biological father. During November sweeps, we'll also see the return of Robin's pop-star alter ego, Robin Sparkles.
