'Suburgatory' (ABC)
Premieres: Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 8:30 p.m. ET
"Suburgatory" has been flying a little bit under the radar in this season's crop of new comedies. Unjustly so, because this story of a teenage girl (Jane Levy) whose overprotective single dad (Jeremy Sisto) moves her from Manhattan to the 'burbs is one of the better new comedies this year. At times it feels a little like a live-action "Daria," and Levy is one of the potential breakout stars of the season. ABC has also sandwiched it between "The Middle" and "Modern Family," making for a very nice block of family comedy.
