Judging by the pilot's explosive, high-stakes tension, the series could fill the action thriller void left by "24." Andre Braugher commands the screen as nuclear submarine Capt. Marcus Chaplin, and he's surrounded by a strong, charismatic ensemble cast. (Hello, Scott Speedman!) The writers' challenge will be to maintain the dramatic tension through compelling and unpredictable characters. If not, this submarine series could sink.
