'Arrow' (The CW)
Logline: Stephen Amell stars as Oliver Queen, The Green Arrow, in this gritty revamp of the popular comic book character. After being marooned on a desert island, billionaire playboy Queen returns home to reunite with former love interest Dinah Laurel Lance.
Why we're interested: We've gone a year without a superhero franchise on The CW, and that was long enough, thank you very much. We like that Greg Berlanti and Co. have taken the character in a darker, edgier direction, and we're looking forward to seeing Katie Cassidy as Laurel/the Black Canary.
