What else is there to say, really? Okay, fine, we'll say a little more. We admit that a zombie-pocalypse is an intriguing idea for a television program. Add in the fact that AMC is the station that brings us "Mad Men" and "Rubicon" and we feel good about "The Walking Dead." If the preview clips and pictures are any indication, viewers are in for a scary ride but also a study in survival -- what happens to normal people in extraordinary circumstances?
"The Walking Dead" stars U.K. newcomer Andrew Lincoln as Officer Rick Grimes, the leader of the band of survivors. We think this will be his U.S. coming out party and a fun weekly frightfest.
