ABC Boards 'Money' Train Post-'Dancing'

ABC has firmed up its post-"Dancing with the Stars" plans somewhat, slotting a game show hosted by William Shatner for Wednesday nights starting in late November.

"Show Me the Money," a quiz show from "Deal or No Deal" and "1 vs. 100" producer Endemol USA, will debut at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, Nov. 22. "Dancing with the Stars" is scheduled to end the previous week.

ABC is keeping quiet about just how the game works. Players will answer trivia questions to accumulate cash, but there's also a "never-before-seen" wrinkle to the game that can either multiply or decimate a player's earnings.

"Show Me the Money" is the second new show ABC is rolling out on Wednesdays next month. The drama "Day Break" will take over for "Lost" starting Nov. 15, in an effort to keep the latter show out of repeats this season.

The network has yet to announce its complete plans for Tuesday nights after "Dancing" ends. New comedy "Big Day" will be paired with "Help Me Help You" in the 9 o'clock hour, but 8 p.m. remains vacant for the moment.

ABC has a couple of options for the hour, including another game show, the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted "Set for Life." Veteran sitcoms "George Lopez" and "According to Jim" are also available.
