'Moonlight's' Alex O'Loughlin doctors up 'Three Rivers'
Mick St. John becomes an M.D.
The Aussie actor is in talks to star in CBS' medical drama pilot "Three Rivers," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
There will be blood a-plenty for the former vampire, who will play Dr. Andy Yablonski on the show that revolves around organ transplants from the point of view of the doctors, donors and recipients.
Naturally, the good doctor has his own issues. Not only is he the head of the organ donor transplant team, but he's dealing with the separation from his wife, which leaves him living in a motel near the hospital and becoming a workaholic.
O'Louglin first set pulses aflutter as sexy vamp Mick St. John on the short-lived "Moonlight." He also played a regular flesh-and-blood being on "The Shield" and stars in the upcoming Antarctica thriller (yes, you read right) "Whiteout" on the big screen.
