Married beekeepers? Southern belles? Team "Superbad"? It can only mean another season of CBS' "The Amazing Race."

The Emmy-winning competition series returns to air with its 13th installment on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET. This season starts its run at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and travels to locations ranging from Cambodia to Kazakhstan as 11 teams compete for the ultimate prize.

Announced on Tuesday (Aug. 19), the teams include a variety of familiar couplings. There's an estranged married couple viewing "The Amazing Race" as the potential last gasp for their partnership, as well as a long-distance couple looking to see if prolonged exposure brings them closer together or tears them apart. And "Amazing Race" fans will be shocked to discover a pair of cute blondes who want to prove to the world that they're more than just pretty faces.

There are also ultra-competitive siblings, fun-loving frat brothers, 26-year-old divorcees and self-described geeks.

As always, host Phil Keoghan will be there to greet the teams at the mat.
