Actress signs talent deal with ABC, Touchstone
As is the custom with such agreements, the network and studio will now go searching for a project that fits Brenneman's talents for the coming development season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, said project will be targeted for next fall.
Brenneman has been nominated for five Emmys in her career, two for her work in the early years of "NYPD Blue" and three straight for "Judging Amy" from 2000-02. She also had a recurring part on "Frasier."
She was also an executive producer of "Judging Amy," which ran for six seasons on CBS, ending in 2005.
Her movie credits include "Heat," "Your Friends & Neighbors" and "Nine Lives." She stars opposite Al Pacino in the thriller "88 Minutes," which is due for release sometime next year.
