Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz Visit 'CSI: NY' in March

The couple will play Bonnie and Clyde 'wannabes'

If you didn't get enough of Pete Wentz on Tuesday night's " Privileged," you can check him and his wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz out on sister network CBS.

The new parents will guest as "Bonnie and Clyde wannabes" on a " CSI: NY" episode airing Wednesday, March 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, it was announced today.

Simpson-Wentz will portray Lila Wickfield, a young community college student who is working as a hotel cleaning lady. The Fall Out Boy bassist will play her boyfriend, Chester Bryon

The "CSI" franchise has been a draw for guest stars, particularly those of the musical persuasion. Lest we forget, Nelly and Kevin Federline have both guest starred, and CBS announced last week that country music sensation Taylor Swift will take a turn on the flagship show.

Simpson-Wentz already has a creditable acting resume having appeared on "7th Heaven" and on the big screen in "Undiscovered."
