'Alias,' 'Queens' Stars Gather 'Intelligence'
Bradley Cooper, Patton Oswalt to star in HBO pilot
The "Wedding Crashers" actor has signed on to "Intelligence," a comedy pilot in development at HBO. He'll star alongside comedian Patton Oswalt ("Ratatouille"), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Michael Patrick Jann ("Reno 911," "The State") created the project, in which Oswalt and Cooper play high-level counter-intelligence agents who pose as unmotivated civil servants. The two actors will also serve as executive producers with Jann.
Cooper is currently at work on two feature films, the romantic comedy "All About Steve" and an adaptation of the best-selling book "He's Just Not That Into You." He also has a recurring part on "Nip/Tuck" this coming season; his TV credits also include "Kitchen Confidential" and "Jack & Bobby."
Oswalt provided the voice of Remy in this summer's Pixar movie "Ratatouille." He co-starred on "The King of Queens" and was one of the principals in the Comedy Central series "The Comedians of Comedy."
