Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady welcome son

Even though "Six Degrees" didn't get to finish on the air, Bridget Moynahan did get to see one project through to its conclusion.

The actress gave birth to the son of her ex-boyfriend, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Wednesday, Aug. 22 in Los Angeles, reports People.

"Mother and baby are doing well," her publicist, Christina Papadopoulos.

The actress, 36, and athlete, 30, dated from 2004 till late 2006. The football player is currently dating supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Brady was allegedly seen at the hospital bearing flowers

Moynhan starred in ABC's "Six Degrees," which only finished its run online. She's also known as Mr. Big's wife ex-wife Natasha on "Sex and the City." Her film credits include "I, Robot," "The Lord of War" and "The Recruit."
