Watros, Serbedzija and Lombardozzi do the pilot thing

Cynthia Watros, late of "Lost," has signed on to co-star with Marisa Tomei in a CBS comedy pilot.

The latest round of CBS and FOX casting buzz also includes co-stars from "24," "The O.C." and "The Wire," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Watros, who played the ill-fated Libby last season on "Lost," will be the best friend to the titular brilliant writer (Tomei) in "The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud."

This is Watros' second straight development season at CBS. Last spring, the "Titus" vet was cast in the network's pilot "The Ex-Life," giving the first indication that Libby wasn't long for the "Lost" island. That pilot never made it to air, but Libby has yet to return from the dead.

Also at CBS, Rade Serbedzija ("Eyes Wide Shut") will play an ancient vampire in the drama "Twilight," about a bloodsucker-turned-investigator (Alex O'Laughlin). Serbedzija is currently recurring on FOX's "24," but the versatile character actor may be best known as Boris "The Blade" Yurinov from "Snatch."

And in other CBS casting news, Domenick Lombardozzi will play a member of LL Cool J's police team in "The Man." Herc on HBO's "The Wire," Lombardozzi has also done time on the small screen in "Entourage" and on the big screen in "Miami Vice."

In other casting news, Brandon Quinn ("The O.C.), Nick Gonzalez (also "The O.C.") and Sarayu Rao (not "The O.C.") will appear in FOX's untitled Liz Meriwether comedy. The pilot focuses on a trio of sorority girls (Molly Stanton, Dorian Brown, Lacey Chabert) who decide to change their lives after graduating college.
