It's the first child for actor and his girlfriend

Mr. Big has a little boy.

The former "Sex and the City" actor and his girlfriend Tara Wilson welcomed a son on Friday, Jan. 18, reports People.

"I am happy to confirm that Chris Noth and Tara Wilson are the proud parents of a happy and healthy baby boy," says Noth's rep. "Chris and Tara are thrilled and all are doing well."

Orion Christopher Noth was born in Los Angeles and weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz.

Wilson was working at The Cutting Room, Noth's bar in New York, when she met him. They've also collaborated on a film together, the indie "Frame of Mind."

Noth, 53, is best known for playing Detective Mike Logan on "Law & Order" and as "Sex and the City's" Mr. Big, a role he'll reprise for the big screen.
