'Project Runway' winner, judge to make appearances

He's already been parodied on "Saturday Night Live," and soon "Project Runway" winner Christian Siriano will earn another stamp of pop-culture approval.

Siriano, along with "Runway" judge and Elle fashion director Nina Garcia, will appear on ABC's "Ugly Betty" during May sweeps, upping the fierce and/or hot mess quotient on the show by a notch or two. The pair will film their cameos in early April, and the episode will air during May sweeps (an exact date hasn't been set).

In the episode, Siriano and Garcia will visit the Mode offices, where they encounter Betty (America Ferrera), Daniel (Eric Mabius) and the rest of the magazine's staff (we'd really like to see a meeting between Christian and Michael Urie's Marc). ABC also teases a meeting between Siriano and the show's own "hot tranny mess," Alexis Meade (Rebecca Romijn).

Garcia and Siriano are the latest fashionistas to make guest appearances on "Ugly Betty," following the footsteps of fellow "Runway" star Tim Gunn, Victoria Beckham and designers Kenneth Cole and Vera Wang.

"Ugly Betty" will begin a season-ending run of five new episodes on Thursday, April 24.
