'Baywatch' Babe Splits from Crue Bassist
Donna D'Errico files for divorce from Nikki Sixx
LOS ANGELES -- Former "Baywatch" babe Donna D'Errico and Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx are no longer singing "Home Sweet Home."The blonde actress filed for divorce on Friday, April 28 from her rocker husband after nine years of marriage. According to documents found on TMZ.com, she is citing irreconcilable differences for the dissolution of their marriage.
She's seeking joint custody of their two children -- 13-year-old son Rhyan from a previous marriage and five-year-old daughter Frankie-Jean -- while she maintains physical custody and Sixx is granted visitation rights. D'Errico also wants Sixx to pay spousal support and attorney fees.
The couple married in December 1996 and separated briefly after the birth of Frankie-Jean. They reconciled once Sixx went through rehab.
With the end of this relationship, it's the second failed marriage between a member of Motley Crue and a "Baywatch" beauty after Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson's split.
Sixx, 47, is the founder and bassist of metal group Motley Crue, which also includes frontman Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars and drummer Lee. The Crue enjoyed success beginning in the '80s with songs such as "Girls, Girls, Girls," "Smokin' in the Boys Room," "Primal Scream," "Dr. Feelgood" and the requisite heavy metal ballad "Home Sweet Home." Their latest album of greatest hits, "Red, White & Crue," was released in 2005.
D'Errico, 38, is best known for playing Donna Marco for three seasons on "Baywatch." She's also appeared on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Nick Freno."
