Elle Macpherson supes up 'A Beautiful Life'
Supermodel will play the owner of a NY modeling agency
The supermodel has deigned to join the cast in a recurring role on CW's pilot of "A Beautiful Life," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show revolves around a co-ed residence overflowing with models working their genetic blessings in New York.
On the show, Macpherson will portray Claudia, a former '80s supermodel who still stays in shape and is the tough but savvy owner of New York's Focus Models agency.
Macpherson has acting experience from the "Batman & Robin," "If Lucy Fell" and a recurring role on "Friends."
She joins the previously cast Mischa Barton, Sara Paxton, Ben Hollingsworth, Ashley Madekwe and Nico Tortorella.
Barton will play a modeling veteran who's struggling to keep up with the fresh faces, such as Paxton, who plays a sweet Midwestern girl who's making a splash in the Big Apple. Hollingsworth, Madekwe and Tortorella will also play models.
Also, as Zap2it's Korbi Ghosh reported, "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu will be dropping in on the models for the pilot, but is not a regular cast member.
