'Desperate Housewives' cast, Tina Fey will hand out awards

A quartet of Emmy nominees and a host of "Desperate Housewives" are among the first group of presenters at the Emmy Awards.

The "Housewives" cast -- Marcia Cross, Dana Delany, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria Parker and Nicollette Sheridan -- will all present together at the 60th Emmys, which are scheduled for Sept. 21 on ABC. It will be their only stage time, however, as the regular cast was shut out of the nominations this year (though guest stars Polly Bergen and Kathryn Joosten did pick up nods).

Former "Saturday Night Live" cohorts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will also present together. The "Baby Mama" co-stars are also nominees -- Fey is up for writing and acting on "30 Rock" (the show is also up for best comedy) and for best individual performance in a variety show for hosting "Saturday Night Live." Poehler is nominated for best supporting actress in a comedy series for her "SNL" work.

"It's always fun to come up with unique pairings, cast reunions and surprising personalities as presenters on the Emmy show, and this year we've got a number of those," Emmy executive producer Ken Ehrlich says. "And the good news is, we've got plenty more to come."

"House" star Hugh Laurie and Julia Louis-Dreyfus of "The New Adventures of Old Christine" have also been confirmed as presenters. Both are nominated in their respective lead-acting categories.
