Oh Brother: Emilio Estevez Visits 'Two and a Half Men'
'Mighty Ducks' star will guest opposite brother Charlie Sheen
CBS announced on Thursday (Nov. 6) that Estevez will guest on an upcoming "Two and a Half Men" episode.
The two real-life siblings won't play brothers on the show, though. Estevez will appear as a former drinking and partying buddy of Charlie's who comes for a visit.
"My dad did the show a couple of years ago, so it was only a matter of time until someone of my brother's talent could also come and play in our sandbox," says Sheen in a statement.
Indeed, Sheen and Estevez's father Martin Sheen appeared in the show's 2005 episode "Sleep Tight, Puddin' Pop."
CBS offered no word on possible upcoming cameos for Ramon or Renee Estevez, nor on when Emilio's episode will air.
Emilio Estevez, who previously acted with Sheen in "Rated X," "Young Guns" and "Men at Work," has been a busy part of the CBS family as a director, helming episodes of "The Guardian," "Cold Case," "CSI: NY" and "Close to Home."
