Five Stars Beam Into FOX's 'Virtuality'
Joy Bryant, Sienna Guillory, Nelson Lee, Omar Metwally and Richie Coster join backdoor pilot
Five co-stars have joined the cast of "Virtuality," a two-hour telefilm/backdoor pilot from FOX.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joy Bryant, Sienna Guillory, Nelson Lee, Omar Metwally and Richie Coster are in place for the project from Ronald D. Moore.
Produced by Universal Media Studios and BermanBraun, "Virtuality" focuses on the 12-member crew of Phaeton, a starship that leaves Earth on a 10-year exploratory mission. The ship has been equipped with state-of-the-art virtual reality modules that let the crew escape their constrained surroundings. As one might imagine, when things start going wrong with the virtual reality, actual reality gets extra-complicated as well.
There trade paper is short on specific info, but Bryant ("Honey") will Alice Thibadeau, Lee ("Blade: The Series") is Kenji Yamaguchi, Guillory ("Eragon") is set as Rika Goddard, Metwally ("Rendition") will be Dr. Eyal Meyer and Coster ("The Dark Knight") has been cast cast as Jimmy Johnson.
James D'Arcy, Kerry Bishe and Jimmi Simpson were previously announced for the project.
