WHAT TO WATCH

TALK BACK

Is this a good strategy?

Will ABC's no-repeat 'Lost' plan improve the way you watch the show? Would you have offered a different strategy?

1. This is a stupid idea too. Run the show from start to finish. and then put on a new show. ABC programmers are idiots who ought to be fired. I won't watch the other show. Since they won't run Lost start to finish, I doubt I'll bother to watch at all. If they lose enough viewers maybe they'll listen.

3. They should have scheduled it for three blocks. They could've still fit them into sweeps' months. If the new show premiering during it's hiatus fails, what are they going to put in that slot?

4. If you can't have a show change what night its aired without losing all your "dedicated" viewers, I just fear how this will hurt lost have it off the air for 3 months or longer. They really need to market it like its Season 3 and Season 4 in the same year.

5. If they want to avoid repeats why not follow 24 and begin airing in January? Why break it up? 24 has had great success in running all episodes back to back. No doubt we will get a recap episode when the show breaks and the returns

6. i love this idea. itll be tough going while the show is off the air for awhile, but you have to remember that they have to do this system in two blocks so they can make sure that LOST is on during the sweeps months

7. no i don't think it's a good idea because they ratings will decrease and they will have to drop it like a hot bread as they did commander in chief, even though i'll be watching ABC just wants to make room for their news shows.

8. I think this is a very good idea. It gives more of a variety to people. Grey's Anatomy has a strong following and should do very well against CSI. Grey's has better numbers then Alias and The Practice when they were moved. Kudos to ABC for give CBS tough competition because I don't think NBC will.

9. I think they should run the entire series without repeats and then put on the new show. Why in two different blocks?

10. Moving Gray's Anatomy is a bad move. Rating WILL go down because of CSI on CBS. When will ABC learn what happens when they move good shows from their strong time slots into ones that hurt the show. Take a page from CBS who leave their shows in the same time slots so viewers known and expect it.
