Huston's Raring For 'Medium' Role
Star brings five Emmy nominations to the mix
Oscar winner Anjelica Huston will drop by NBC's "Medium" to shake things up next season.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Huston will appear in six episodes of the Emmy-winning drama, which is being held back to January for the start of its fourth season.
The trade paper says that Huston will play a character named Cynthia Keener, an investigator who enters into an unusual partnership with Patricia Arquette's Allison Dubois.
Huston won an Oscar for 1985's "Prizzi's Honor" and added nominations for "Enemies: A Love Story" and "The Grifters." She's also been nominated for five Emmys without a win, with her most recent nod coming in 2004 for the HBO telefilm "Iron Jawed Angels." Her most recent television stint was a four-episode arc on Showtime's "Huff."
