'Seinfeld' star will helm at least one episode of ''Til Death'

"Seinfeld" veteran and current sitcom-guest-for-hire Jason Alexander will go behind the camera for an episode of FOX's "'Til Death."

Although the plot of the Alexander episode is shrouded in mystery -- or at least it's not ready to be revealed to the public -- he'll begin shooting the week of September 19 and the episode will be the season's sixth, which possibly would put it on track for the November sweeps period.

The third season of "'Til Death" premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 10. After launching as the story of contrasting new and slightly more seasoned married couples, the series' somewhat tweaked format now focuses on characters played by Brad Garrett, Joely Fisher and J.B. Smoove.

Sure, Alexander is best known for his long run as George Costanza on "Seinfeld," but nobody seems to want to celebrate his work on "Bob Patterson" and "Listen Up."

Alexander has done recent guest spots on "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Campus Ladies." He also directed episodes of the latter two shows.
