Casting: 'Lost' Adds Jeremy Davies
Lifetime in 'Practice' with Beau Bridges
The cast for season four of "Lost" keeps growing, with Jeremy Davies and Jeff Fahey the latest to join the ABC series.Elsewhere, Lifetime's pilot "Family Practice" has added several cast members, including Beau Bridges in one of the lead roles, and NBC has signed Steven Christopher Parker for a recurring part on "ER."
Davies ("Rescue Dawn," "Helter Skelter") will have what The Hollywood Reporter describes as a "heavily recurring" part on "Lost" in the coming season. The trade paper says he'll play "one of the freighters"; we'll assume he's not playing a ship and will be one of Naomi's (Marsha Thomason) cohorts who made contact with the crash survivors at the end of last season.
Just what cult favorite Fahey ("Grindhouse," "The Lawnmower Man"), whose casting was first reported by Entertainment Weekly, will be doing on the show is less clear. Davies and Fahey are the fourth and fifth new cast members of the show, joining Lance Reddick ("The Wire"), Rebecca Mader ("Justice") and Ken Leung ("The Sopranos").
At Lifetime, meanwhile, Joey Honsa and Karin Anglin have joined Bridges in "Private Practice," about a young woman (Honsa, who's guested on "Prison Break" and "Criminal Minds") who becomes entangled with a wealthy family that controls one of Chicago's most powerful law firms. Emmy and Golden Globe winner Bridges ("My Name Is Earl," "Stargate SG-1") will play the family's patriarch and Anglin his daughter, an attorney at the firm.
Finally, Parker ("Little Miss Sunshine") will recur on "ER" as a bright but emotionally unstable new intern at County General. He guest-starred on the long-running series (playing a different role) in 2005.
