All-new episodes of 'Hannah Montana,' 'Suite Life' will also air

In May, prepare to get Jonased.

The Disney Channel's Jonas Brothers-starring sitcom, aptly titled "JONAS," will premiere on Saturday, May 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, but if you're lucky enough to have Disney Channel On Demand, you can catch it six days earlier on April 25.

"The true test of artists is their willingness to stretch creatively –- to tackle new challenges," says Disney Channel chief Gary Marsh. "The Jonas Brothers, already established as music superstars, have done just that with 'JONAS' -- by stretching beyond their established comfort zone into the world of television comedy."

Apparently, the comfort zone isn't stretched too far. On the show, musicians Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas play brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick Lucas, also musicians who try to live ordinary lives. Their band is called JONAS on the show because they live on Jonas Street. Convenient.

Joining in on the fun are the brothers' younger sib Frankie, aka Bonus Jonas, Chelsea Staub as their childhood friend and fashionista Stella, Nicole Anderson as their No. 1 fan Macy Mista, John Ducey and Rebecca Creskoff as the parental Lucases and Rob Feggans, as their bodyguard The Big Man

In the premiere episode, titled "Wrong Song," Nick is heartbroken when his crush Penny (Bridgit Mendler) steals the new love song he wrote specifically for her and then sings it to another guy. Meanwhile, Stella puts her mind to inventing something essential to rock stars with rabid fans: tear-proof clothing.

Fans needing a "JONAS" appetizer can check out the trailer and promotional video on AT&T CV, Sprint TV and Verizon V Cast on Friday, April 17.

In order to keep the Disney Channel fans totally blissed out, the entire "JONAS" premiere experience will be surrounded by a miasma of new " Hannah Montana," "Sonny With a Chance," "The Suite Life on Deck" and "Wizards of Waverly Place" episodes airing Friday, May 1 - Sunday, May 3.

May 3 is also when the premiere episode will be available on Netflix, iTunes and Mobile VOD, so the Jonas experience doesn't have to end when your tween is on the go.
