'Alligator Boots' comes from Jackhole Prods.

Comedy Central has shot a half-hour pilot for a project that finally combines the comedic powers of puppets and Kanye West.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the tentatively titled "Alligator Boots" is under consideration for a 2009 slot. It's produced by Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison and Adam Carolla's Jackhole Productions along with West and fellow rapper Rhymefest.

The trade paper says that in addition to executive producing, West also hosts and performs in the first episode. The plan would be for the show to take a "Muppet Shows"-with-hip-hop format, meshing puppet antics with a weekly celebrity guest host.

Jackhole previously worked with Comedy Central and with puppets on "Crank Yankers."
