Kylie Minogue Celebrates Christmas With 'Who'

Kylie Minogue will be spending her Christmas holidays with "Doctor Who."The BBC announced on Tuesday (July 3) that Minogue will play a major role in "Voyage of the Damned," the latest "Doctor Who" Christmas special.
David Tennant will continue is run as the Doctor.
Filming on the "Doctor Who" Christmas special will begin in July and the episode will air on BBC One in December 2007, which means it will probably find its way to American audiences on the Sci Fi Channel some time in the distant future.
"We are delighted and excited to announce that Kylie Minogue will be joining the Doctor," says the show's executive producer and writer Russell T. Davies. "Doctor Who Christmas specials are always a joy and we feel very confident that this will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet."
The BBC says that the special will pick up with the shocking end to the third series, a series that has yet to premiere in the United States. The show's fourth series have been slated for a spring 2008 U.K. premiere.
Australian pop diva Minogue's hits range from "The Loco-Motion" to "Can't Get You Out of My Head." Her acting credits include "Neighbours," "Bio-Dome" and "Moulin Rouge!"
