Anderson, Kid Rock Wed Nashville-Style
Third wedding is high-spirited but low budget
Children's author Lewis Carroll once wrote, "What I tell you three times is true," so following that logic, Pamela Anderson truly wants Kid Rock as her husband. The "Stacked" actress and her man exchanged vows for the third time, this time in Nashville, just after midnight on Thursday, Aug. 17, report news sources. The couple previously said "I do" in St. Tropez on July 29 and in a courthouse ceremony in Beverly Hills before celebrating in Detroit on Aug. 5.
In Nashville's Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, a singer on stage unexpectedly announced to the crowd: "You guys aren't going to believe what we have next -– Kid Rock and Pam Anderson are going to get married on stage and we're not even kidding." The star couple then proceeded to get hitched on stage.
The groom, born Robert Ritchie, reportedly declared "Hell yes" instead of "I do," while Anderson responded, "Unfortunately yes."
On Anderson's official website, she writes: "Got married in Nashville. Tootsies on stage. In front of the coolest crowd. Bobby sang 'Sweet Home Alabama' -- The fun won't stop. Thanks Judge BROWN. Marriage Number 3, Nashville -- Done...The Bride wore Juicy -- the groom wore beam and coke!"
In July, the "Baywatch" star had announced her intent to wed the rocker in St. Tropez, Detroit, Nashville and Malibu. Let's see if their love holds true for the final destination.
Anderson, 39, was previously married to Motley Crue's Tommy Lee in 1995 and divorced him three years later. Besides an infamous sex tape and possibly Hepatitis C, the couple also has two children -- Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 8 -- to show for their marriage. This is the first marriage (third ceremony) for Kid Rock.
