The CW's 'Aliens' Abducts 'Gilmore' Guy
Scott Patterson joins CW comedy
Fans of "Gilmore Girls" star Scott Patterson won't have to look far to find the CW veteran this fall.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Patterson has landed a key role in The CW comedy "Aliens in America."
"Aliens in America" focuses on a Wisconsin family who take in a foreign exchange student in an effort to boost the popularity of their 16-year-old son. When he turns out to be a -- heaven forbid -- Muslim, it turns their world asunder.
Patterson will replace original pilot co-star Patrick Breen as the father of the less-than-popular American teen.
For the past seven years, Patterson played diner owner Luke Danes on "Gilmore Girls." The character ended this May's series finale in a liplock with Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), which left fans of the show happy and Patterson looking for a new gig.
Patterson will be seen on the big screen this fall in "Saw IV."
