CBS Fall TV Preview

CBS Fall TV Preview: First place in the ratings has its spoils, one of them being that you dont have to remake your schedule too much. CBS is sticking with what got it to the top, adding only four new series to its lineup this fall.

Two of those four -- comedy The Class and legal drama Shark -- stick pretty close to the networks tried-and-true formula. The network is going out on a limb (a short, stable one, anyway) with the dark drama Jericho, about a town cut off from the world after a nuclear explosion, and Smith, a crime show about the criminals. With sizable returning hits on pretty much every night, though, its easy to see why there arent any big leaps in this bunch.
