FOX's New Shows for the 2006-07 Season

FOX's New Shows for the 2006-07 Season: Happy Hour:
Comedy

Premise: A small-town guy moves to Chicago, has his heart broken and moves in with a modern day Dean Martin who vows to remake him.

First Impressions: If you like your comedy big and a little coarse (at least three utterances of the word balls in one scene), then this is a show youll probably enjoy. If not, well. ... The center of the show, a wannabe Rat Packer teaching his uptight, down-on-his-luck friend to enjoy life, might be worth something. But theres a fair amount of material here that feels extraneous too. Some trimming might be a good idea.

Stars: John Sloan (The OH in Ohio), Lex Medlin (Still Standing), Nate Faxon (Joey), Jamie Denbo (Must Love Dogs), Beth Lacke (The Rest of Your Life, Mr. 3000), Brooke DOrsay (Kings Ransom)

Studio: Warner Bros. Television, Werner-Gold-Miller

Producers: Jackie Filgo, Jeff Filgo (That 70s Show), Tom Werner (The Cosby Show), Eric Gold, Jimmy Miller
