FOX's New Shows for the 2006-07 Season

FOX's New Shows for the 2006-07 Season: Vanished
Drama

Premise: When an FBI team begins to investigate the disappearance of a senators wife, what looks like a simple missing persons case unfolds into a vast conspiracy with national security issues at stake.

First Impressions: Between 24 and Prison Break, Veronica Mars and Lost, were frankly a little conspiracied out. So the prospect of another series with a deep backstory and sinister elements leaves us a little more weary than excited. FOX name-checked The Da Vinci Code in this story of the abduction of a senators wife, which immediately set us to thinking whether the show would explain that pyramid on the back of the dollar bill. That we were thinking of that instead of the show maybe isnt the best sign.

Stars: Gale Harold (Queer as Folk), John Allen Nelson (24), Joanne Kelly (Whiskey Echo), Rebecca Gayheart (Beverly Hills 90210), Margarita Levieva (The Invisible), John Patrick Amedori (Stick It), Chris Egan (Empire), Ming-Na (Inconceivable, ER)

Studio: 20th Century Fox Television

Producers: Josh Berman (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Paul Redford (The Unit), Mimi Leder (Pay It Forward)
