Now where might CBS soon have a potential hole in an 8 p.m. hour midweek?

CBS has ordered six additional episodes of the summer game show hit "Power of 10."

The official CBS release says only that the six episodes will be held for midseason.

Hosted by Drew Carey, "Power of 10" has been airing on Tuesdays at Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET, averaging more than eight million viewers per broadcast.

The network also notes that the past five broadcasts of "Power of 10" have won their time period in all key measures and that the show's Wednesday airings have won the time period three weeks in a row.

The show's summer finale will air on Sunday, Sept. 23, a special episode moved to the weekend by the Wednesday, Sept. 19 premiere of "Kid Nation," a reality show already embroiled in a heap of controversy.

We're sure it's just a coincidence that CBS is ordering six more episodes of a show that's already proven its ability to win on Wednesday nights at 8.
